NUR-SULTAN/OTTAWA. Flaxseed prices continue to rise in Eastern Europe and Canada. The market is confronted with difficulties.

High prices and delays in Kazakhstan

The market situation remains rather unpredictable in Eastern Europe. The harvest has been completed in Kazakhstan and the crop is smaller than last year. Farmers are taking advantage by charging high prices. Market players are outraged in stating that, "they think they are selling gold instead of flaxseed".
