Dried apricots: average export price increases significantly

MALATYA. Recently published data show that total exports since the beginning of the season are significantly behind those of the 2019/2020 season. The export price has shown noticeable increases.

Lower export volume, higher average price

The Aegean Exporters Union (EIB) recently published the latest export figures for the 2020/2021 season, showing that 50,035 mt of dried apricots and apricot products have been shipped overseas so far since the start of the season on 1 August 2020, a significant decrease compared to the first half of the 2019/2020 season.
