Pumpkin seeds: food innovations to drive up demand

BEJING. Food innovations may drive up domestic demand for Shine Skins in China. Prices are at present, however, rather encouraging for overseas buyers.

Freight charges range lower

Freight charges for a 20' Full Container Load range well below USD 4,000 again. Market players, however, reckon that the recent blockage of the Suez Canal may prompt a backlash and a temporary rise in prices. The canal had to close for nearly a week after the cargo ship Ever Given ran aground delaying around 400 vessels. Estimates state that around USD 9 billion in trade were held up every day during the six-day blockage. Now, ports in Europe are busy unloading containers, which are expected to become sparse.
