Sunflower seeds: Ukraine considers export stop

SOFIA/KIEV. Shortly after the responsible authorities in Ukraine agreed on an export limit for sunflower oil, a possible export stop for sunflower seeds is already being discussed.

Possible export ban from mid-May

"On April 19, the Minister for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine, Igor Petrashko and Association Ukroliyaprom signed the Memorandum on mutual understanding to provide predictable export of sunflower oil in 2020/21 MY”- this was announced by the ministry's press service.
