DALIAN. Buyers will need to reckon with increasing prices for Chinese pumpkin seeds until the next season. Inexpensive left-over stock is available only in correspondingly lower quality.

Prices continue to rise
The prices for Chinese pumpkin seeds continue their ascent; the development is similar to this time last year. The price level is also comparable to last year's level; the deviation is relatively low.

Market players believe that large quantities of raw seeds from the 2016 and 2017 crops are still available on the Chinese market. Good quality, on the other hand, is running out, which is why further price increases are to be expected in the coming months.
