TEHRAN. Current projections for Iran’s new raisin crop are highly optimistic. Suppliers are issuing offers.

New crop available

Processing of the new raisin crop is progressing well in Iran and suppliers are issuing offers. Prospects are highly encouraging. While the International Nut and Dried Fruit Council (INC) pegged the country’s 2025/2026 production at 140,000 mt in the most recent estimates issued in July, recent field reports are not only confirming that this year’s crop will be larger but also that the quality will be better than last year as weather conditions were good throughout winter and during growing.
