NEW DELHI/ASUNCIÓN. The Indian sesame seed market is only slowly picking up speed again. Paraguay has increased its exports by 44% compared to the same period last year. India remains the most important supplier for the EU.

Growers want to sell their goods

After the Makar Sankranti celebrations, the Indian sesame seed market remains quiet for the time being. In Andhra Pradesh, arrivals from the Rabi crop are expected from the beginning of March, and in Tamil Nadu from mid-March.
