...USD 1.03 per kg CFR for imports to India. Prices in Uganda range nominally higher at USD 1.08 per kg and Sudan Red seeds at USD 1.03 per kg. Sesame seeds from Brazil are also very attractive for importers in India with prices ranging at USD 1.09 per kg CFR India.

Enquiries stabilise market

An uptick in buying in Europe has prevented further price declines in India. White sesame seeds are trading in a firm, but on a low level. Black sesame seeds are, however, trading around USD 0.07per kg lower since last week at USD 2.18 per kg.
