NEW DELHI. The market in India continues its roller coaster ride. Besides reports of massive crop damages, there are other voices which are more confident about production. Suppliers in India are, in addition, loosing ground in the German market.

Traders offer annual contracts

The prices have surged again this week. Although most market players are highly concerned over the impact of the heavy rains and reports of crop damages estimated higher than 30%, other market players are still in good spirits. They are convinced that the yields will be high, depsite the rain. In addition is should be noted that production is epxtected to be good in Africa, with the noted exception of Sudan.
