Sesame seeds: crop concerns and new tender

NEW DELHI/ISLAMABAD. South Korea has issued a new tender, for which bidding will take place next week. India's sucess in the global market largely depends on the hulling industry. China is buying less in Pakistan as buyers prefer to wait.

Tender over 11,000 mt

On 1 September, the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation issued a new tender over 11,000 mt of sesame seeds. Interested parties are invited to bid on 10 September. Yet, registration was completed on 3 September. Busan is the port of arrival and the period of arrival is set for 23 November.
