Uneven market flows in India

Sesame seed arrivals have moderated across domestic markets, but prices remain under pressure due to continued availability and weak buying interest. Despite lower sowing and reduced production in recent years, prices have failed to strengthen as the lack of active stockists and farmers’ reluctance to sell at lower levels have resulted in uneven market flows.
