Rain impacts crop in Gujarat

Recent rainfall in Gujarat has adversely affected the sesame crop in several areas leading to declines in quality and quantity. The market is waiting for further details to emerge. So far, around 10,000-12,000 mt of new sesame seeds have arrived with the inflow expected to rise further in the coming days. Daily arrivals range at 40,000-45,000 bags (40 kg each) in Gujarat.
