NEW DELHI/SEOUL. Exporters in India are getting fed up waiting for the new Korean tender for sesame seeds. China has cut spending. South Korea has changed its supply chain.

Exporters have no patience left in India

Sesame seeds have fallen sharply in the past two weeks. One reason is that exporters are running out of patience in waiting for the delayed Korean tender. While planting has risen by 15% in the state of Rajasthan, a sharp drop has been witnessed in the state of Gujarat. Yet, the rise in Rajasthan should make up for the decline in Gujarat.
