NEW DELHI. South Korea has taken the market by surprise in issuing a new tender on Thursday. Market players had initially expected the tender next week at the earliest. Prices in India are rather surprising.

Tender details

South Korea has issued a new tender over 12,000 mt of sesame seeds, of which 3,000 mt are for high quality seeds due to arrive by 15 September, 4,500 mt for general quality due to arrive by 20 August and a further 4,500 mt due to arrive by 15 September. Interested suppliers are invited to register by 15 June at 14:00 KST. Bids will be issued on 16 June between 10:00 and 11:00 KST.
