South Korea has announced the upcoming tender for 30 January 2020, bids will be accepted until 29 January. Contrary to the expected 10,000 metric tonnes, a total of 12,000 metric tonnes of white sesame seeds will be purchased through this tender. The large volume and dwindling stocks in the Indian market are prompting commodity traders and exporters to raise their prices for non-tender offers. Market players also expect firm prices in the coming days.
