The ongoing price declines on the Indian cumin market have come to a halt for the time being and prices are holding at last week's level. Nevertheless, traders report that demand continues to fall and buyers prefer to wait and see. Indian exporters had hoped that Chinese importers would buy larger quantities of cumin in December, but so far there have been hardly any enquiries.
