Cumin

As last week, prices on the Indian cumin market have increased. Farmers in Rajasthan are slow to sell their produce, while exporters are increasingly on the lookout – this is stabilising prices. Meanwhile, sowings in Gujarat have fallen by around 15% this season, another factor behind the price increases. There are also reports of higher demand from Turkey and Pakistan.
