Prices on the Indian cumin market are continuing their upward trend and have climbed by USD 15/mt compared to last week. This is mainly due to rising domestic demand. Traders are stocking up as they expect buying interest to pick up soon in the wake of the upcoming festive season and planned weddings. Some market players are of a different opinion, which is why they do not expect further price increases; as is so often the case, opinions are divided and market players will have to wait and see.
