GUJARAT. Weekly monitoring with the latest market information from India on cumin, coriander and turmeric, chilli, black pepper and cardamom as well as a price list for more than 70 products.

Cumin

The cumin market has seen an increase in prices for all varieties this week. Market players also expect prices to rise further in the new season as low rainfall has been reported from the growing regions of Gujarat and Rajasthan. As this has prompted many stockists to increase their inventories, there is significantly less product available in the open market, pushing prices up even further. Cumin, Grade A is currently trading at USD 2,026/mt FOB India.
