Cumin

Indian cumin prices are still on a downward trend. The new crops have arrived on the market in Turkey and Syria, and many buyers from the Gulf States are favouring these countries, partly due to the long delivery times from India. The expensive freight rates also continue to pose a challenge for Indian exporters. Prices are receiving some support from the fact that arrivals in important states such as Rajasthan and Gujarat are declining and stocks are also shrinking rapidly.
