Cumin

Indian cumin prices have reached a new low this week and suppliers are burying their hopes of significant increases in the near future. Market experts believe that the situation is unlikely to improve in the next seven to eight weeks, and after the Holi festival, the new crop will increasingly reach the spot markets. Conditions are currently good, although the acreage has declined in the main growing states. On the whole, the yield is likely to be lower than last year. Rising temperatures have also delayed sowing. Exporters are offering their goods at up to 7%
