Cumin seeds

Cumin has declined by more than 4% in the past three weeks and the trend is expected to continue. The main factor is that China is an emerging supplier in the African market. For India, Africa is a major consumer but somehow there is a steep diversion seen towards China. Even Brazil is increasingly turning to China. Average freight on board prices for Indian cumin range at USD 2,350-2,450/mt, whereas China’s offers range USD 100/mt lower.
