Cumin has degraded by more than 45% in the past sixteen months and by 7% in the last six weeks. India’s exporters face several challenges. Main issue is that China’s imports range 38% lower than the three-year average. In addition, China’s production is 10-12% up on last year. Hence, India’s exports will decline to China. Another problem is that inflow dropped by 62% in the month of May.
