GUJARAT. Weekly monitoring with the latest market information from India on cumin, coriander and turmeric, chilli, black pepper and cardamom as well as a price list for more than 70 products.

Cumin

After an initial upswing at the beginning of the week, with prices for grade A cumin climbing to USD 1,960/mt, prices have since fallen back to USD 1,950/mt. This is still well above last week's price of USD 1,930/mt FOB India. Stable demand is supporting the market, which is, however, being put under pressure by the increase in arrivals.
