Cumin

After falling last week, Indian cumin prices are holding steady this week. Last year, prices declined by a total of 37% and the future scenario is currently difficult to predict. Demand is weak and limited to only a few countries, and few deals are materialising at all. The conflicts in Israel and Syria could give India an advantage on the global market, but to what extent remains to be seen. Between February and March, it should also become clear how the next Indian production will turn out – market experts are currently predicting significant declines.
