GUJARAT. Weekly monitoring with the latest market information from India on cumin, coriander and turmeric, chilli, black pepper and cardamom as well as a price list for more than 70 products.

Cumin

Due to high arrivals and low demand, both spot prices and futures for cumin are on a downward trend. Traders also see little room for boosting them. Due to heavy rainfall in the growing regions, not all farmers are currently able to supply farmgate goods, but this problem can be compensated for with the existing supplies and should be resolved with the end of the monsoon season. The price for grade A cumin is currently USD 1,910/mt.
