MANISA. Sultana production in Turkey has now come to an end. Growers remain dissatisfied with the prices offered by the TMO. Exports are progressing well.

Dissatisfaction persists

In the first half of the week, the weather in Manisa will bring rain once again; afterwards, it will become sunny again, though it will remain cooler. Daytime temperatures are expected to range from 25-29°C, whilst at night they will drop to 13-19°C.

Sultana production for the 2026/2027 season has been completed, and since last week the TMO has also been participating in market activity through intervention purchases. It is not yet clear what quantities the state organisation will purchase this season, nor until when. However
