MANISA. The market is speculating as to whether there will be carry-over stocks at the end of the current season. Favourable weather conditions over the winter months could ease the pressure on prices in the coming year.

Much is speculative

After a long harvest period until the last table grapes were harvested in Manisa, the farmers are now busy pruning the vines to prepare them for the winter. Daytime temperatures of 13-17°C are normal for this time of year, with occasional rain showers also providing the growing regions with moisture. At night, temperatures remain well above freezing at 3-11°C.
