Sultanas: harvesting underway

MANISA. Growers have started harvesting early grapes and the cutting of sultana grapes is underway. TARİŞ decided not to announce a purchasing price at the start of the month. The Exporters’ Association is upbeat about 2025.

Sultana raisins are being cut

Again, high temperatures have been forecasted for Manisa for this week as night temperatures will range at 24-25C (75-77F) and day temperatures at 36-38C (97-100F). The harvest of some early grapes that will be dried has started this week and sultana raisins will follow soon. Farmers state that they have experienced severe cold.
