MANISA/MACAO. If the weather conditions persist, Turkey can expect a rise in production of around 77% this year. The outlook is good in other origins too. Meanwhile, the first – not entirely risk-free – offers for the new crop are already circulating.

Turkey expects best result in four years

Spring-like weather is set to continue for the time being in the growing regions of the Turkish province of Manisa. This week, too, the vineyards are benefiting from sunshine and occasional showers and are in good condition. The Turkish Meteorological Service is forecasting daytime temperatures of 27-32°C.
