MANISA. Weather conditions in Manisa remain favourable for the time being. Rainfall during the drying period poses the greatest risk to sultana production. The number of prompt enquiries is declining again.

Weather remains favourable

June brought unusually cool temperatures to the Turkish province of Manisa, but last week the weather became significantly warmer. The Turkish Meteorological Service expects daytime temperatures this week to range between 36-38°C, whilst night-time temperatures will remain at 24-25°C. These warm temperatures are most welcome for the vineyards.
