Sultanas: no sign of prices easing

MANISA. The Turkish weather service is forecasting desert conditions in the Turkish province of Manisa, but the table grape harvest is in full swing. The official base price for sultanas from the new crop is to be announced in August.

According to the Turkish weather service, desert-like temperatures are expected in Manisa this week. Daytime temperatures are expected to rise to 44°C by Thursday before dropping to a still hot 40°C at the end of the week.
