... to wait and see in which the market is going to develop. After climbing to a 4-year high at the end of January, the prices for bakery kernels have declined considerably again. Many buyers, therefore, reckon that prices will fall.

While the export prices for bakery and confection kernels remain stable, the prices for black in-shells continue to fall. Black in-shells with a 97% purity are trading EUR 10 per metric tonne lower than last week at EUR 348 per metric tonne CPT Varna. Traders, however, report higher prices in the physical market.
