Sunflower seeds: market situation calms down

SOFIA/KYIV. Chaotic weeks lie behind the sunflower seed market. A few weeks before the turn of the year, things are now calming down and, according to market players, things could stay that way for the time being.

Prices stable again

After the chaos of the past few weeks, the Bulgarian sunflower seed market is now a little quieter. Demand is slowly ebbing as most buyers have now largely stocked up. Market players reckon that things will be largely unspectacular until the end of the year. Prices have also stabilised for the time being and are at a level of EUR 1,300/mt DDP Germany for hulled bakery kernels, as in the previous week.
