Sunflower seeds: price corrections remain unsuccessful

SOFIA/KYIV. Demand for hulled sunflower kernels remains low. Bulgarian suppliers are trying to increase the interest of buyers with price adjustments, but so far with moderate success.

Fewer sunflower seeds have been processed

Demand for hulled sunflower kernels from Eastern Europe has still not stabilised. Compared to other years, buying interest is significantly lower. Bulgarian suppliers are dissatisfied with the enquiries and the favourable offers for bakery kernels are currently at EUR 950-1,050/mt FCA Bulgaria.
