Sunflower seeds: Record low has been officially reached

SOFIA. As Bulgaria’s cultivation regions have also been affected by unusually high temperatures, trade activity is declining again in the harbors.

 

High temperatures everywhere
The forecasted rain presents a problem for Bulgarian farmers. The warm temperatures have shortened the overwintering phase, which is why the plants now require more intensive care. However, rain-soaked fields are difficult to cultivate, and there is the risk of rainfalls washing away fertilizers.
