Ukrainian farmers want to sow a good 5 million ha

The sunflower seed market remains largely quiet this week. Sowing is continuing in the European growing countries. According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Agriculture, 51,500 hectares of sunflower seeds had been sown by the end of last week, which corresponds to just over 1% of the planned acreage of 5.063 million hectares.

Sunflower seed prices are currently stable with a slight downward trend, which is primarily due to corresponding developments in the sunflower oil market. According to some market experts,
