... the prices for prompt deliveries have risen again this week.

Production estimates for Spain range between 70,000 mt (Spanish Ministry of Agriculture) and 85,000 mt (Tioga Trading and Services). The large difference occurs because increases in acreage are not always included in the calculations. Many of the orchards planted in recent years are providing sufficient yields to be relevant for the national production for the first time this year.
