CHRUDIM/ANKARA. In Turkey, the prices on offer differ widely. Buyers are, in addition, reluctant to purchase in the Czech Republic.

The market is levelling off

Blue poppy seeds are trading stable at 4.20 EUR/kg FCA Czech Republic. There are hardly any offers on the market. At the same time, the buyers are reluctant to make enquiries because of the high price level. Market players are reckoning with stable prices for the near future with a nominal downward trend. The first estimates concerning acreage should be available within a few weeks. Exporters believe that it should amount to 40,000 ha at least.
