Rumours of low yields

Harvesting will start in about two weeks in the Czech Republic. Prices are generally expetced to be considerably lower than last year. There, however, surprisingly few offers available for the new crop. Prices are indicated at EUR 1.90 - 1.95 per kg FCA.

Average yields are generally estimated at 800-1,000 kg per ha this year. However, rumours are circulating in the market that the yields only range at 600 kg. More relibale information will only be issued over the next few weeks. Many suppliers are also trying to get rid of their remaini
