Blue poppy seeds are trading for less than EUR 1.90 per kg

Although prospects are highly encouraging in the Czech Republic, official production estimates will only be issued in three to four weeks.

The new  crop is trading at prices below 1.90 EUR/kg FCA Czech Republic. Market players expect prices to fall even further if this year's production is good. Depiste the encouraging prospects, many traders are nevertheless reluctant to enter into contracts.
