CHRUDIM/ANKARA. The supply squeeze continues and every truck load has to be negotiated. Disaster may strike in the second half of the season. The situation is not much better in Turkey.

3-Euro limit is approaching

Buyers who have not already covered themselves with contracts in advance will have to adjust to rising prices for the time being. Market players reckon that prices may even rise above EUR 3.00 per kg. Prompt deliveries are not really being offer as the farmers are reluctant to part with their seeds. One reason is that they woudl like to keep theri tax burden as low as low as possible for this year. This may, however, confront the market with a difficult situation.
