DALIAN/KYIV. Trade on the Chinese market is usually sluggish during the summer months. The new crop is expected to ease the market situation. Ukrainian farmers have exceeded their sowing target.

New crop expected to ease market conditions

The Chinese buckwheat market is currently characterised by a comfortable supply situation. In addition to substantial stock levels from last year’s crop, Russian buckwheat imports continue to enter the domestic market, meaning there is currently no supply bottleneck.
