NEW DELHI. In Vietnam, there is a disjoint between raw cashew nut and cashew kernel prices. Supplies are limited in Benin. Quality is a worry in Burkina Faso. India’s trade with the EU is far from balanced.

RCN prices too high in Vietnam

In Vietnam, Raw Cashew Nut (RCN) prices may have decreased slightly, but they remain high compared to the current market price for kernels. Because kernel prices are still low, processors are purchasing RCN cautiously and are mainly prioritising higher-quality stock. The market expects RCN prices to continue to drop in the near future.
