MALATYA. The construction of the "World Apricot Trade Center" is intended to create a center in Turkey's most important growing province of Malatya that will bring together all the processes of the apricot trade under one roof. The project is expected to lead to an increase in exports and facilitate operations for growers.

Prices remain unchanged

According to Turkish market players, apricot trade continues to be very sluggish and both commodity and export prices maintain last week's levels. Thus, prices for dried apricots, no 2 remain at TRY 95-100/kg, while no 3 and no 4 varieties are trading for TRY 80-90/kg FOB farm. Prices for organic goods also show no change.
