BEIJING. In the Chinese market, prices for black kidney beans, adzuki beans and mung beans remain firm with an upward trend. Exports of red kidney beans, however, have declined.

Low availability of black kidney beans

According to Chinese market players, prices for small black kidney beans with a 99.95% purity are currently at a high level. The reason for this is a reduction in the area under cultivation, so that only a limited supply of high-quality goods is available. Exporters generally have low stocks left in their warehouses.
