NUR-SULTAN/WARSAW. The market prices for flaxseed from Kazakhstan vary greatly. In addition, the reports on the crop are highly contradictive. Some market players are even reckoning with crop losses of 75%.

Harvest delays and crop damages

Reports unanimously state that the harvest has been delayed considerably. Rain and snow, especially in the northern parts of the country, have interrupted harvesting for several weeks. As far as the quality and size of the crop are concerned, however, the statements differ notably.
