NUR-SULTAN. Exporters in Kazakhstan have suspended shipments to Iran. The border to China also remains closed. Enormous pressure is dominating the market.

Firm prices in Europe

Reports state that several grain exporters in Kazakhstan are waiting in vain for their shipments to Iran to be paid. Trade has now been suspended between the two countries. As the border to China also remains closed, the pressure is most certainly on. The flaxseed market is also affected. Market players continue to report declining farmgate prices, whereas the spot market prices in Europe remain firm for the time being. Problem is that traders currently wish to sell the stocks they purchased at higher prices before they provide cheaper offers.
