Flaxseed: The Ukraine loses market shares

LODZ/KIEV. The suppliers in the Ukraine are having a hard time this season. After the slump in production last year, exports to traditional markets are also only picking up moderately.

 

Exports far behind last season

Only as little as 6,200 mt have been exported from the Ukraine in September-February, the lowest export volume seen in the last five years. The analysts from APK Inform reckon that exports should reach a total of 11,000 mt in 2018/19, a decline of 52% over last year.
