ORDU. In Turkey, the local elections will be held very soon, and the risk of frost is far from over. Nevertheless, the optimistic production estimates have had quite an impact on the market.

Exports range at last year's level

With exports ranging at 180,190 mt, Turkey has shipped a similar volume as last year. The enquiries for prompt shipments are, however, limited. The buyers in Europe have mainly purchased long-term contracts and can now view the current developments in Turkey with a relaxed attitude.
